You mentioned slamming the door in the Almighty's face, and reopening it later and being surprised He was still there :)

Yeah, been there, done that, too.

Something many of us don't realise is that God loves "bad people" as much as "good people". And really good and bad adjectives don't feature in his attitude towards us, which is heaps better than ours towards him.

Once we realise that he who created us loves his creation - regardless - then that makes sense.

I don't like posting scripture on a blog, but I'll use one word. He wants to attract the attention of "whosoever" - in the 1611 English.

Whosoever means just that. Whosoever will listen. Whosoever will say "yeah, thanks, didn't realise that".

That gives me a chance too. There's no way I could fix up how I've hurt people in life, even if they forgive me.

Just a thought, and hope it makes sense :)

I think there very likely are many, albeit with a different set of individual circumstances, which brought them, you, and me (yes) to a similar point in time and space.

Perhaps the timing for each of us is also different.

Each of us is unique in many ways, so that is very likely. I'm glad there isn't a high chance of there being another "me" because when we are honest with ourselves, there are so many warts and pimples we know we have, that we try to keep out of others' gaze :)

Pimples? Sometimes the size of carbuncles lol. But yes, I'm sure most people - if honest with themselves - will say "yes, I was here too". What we do with the "was here" is the key, maybe.

If we can look ourselves in the eye with total honesty, then maybe we have the problem half licked.

Of course if we deny there is a problem, then, ...... another story
